DTS Women’s Basketball Rules

1. 5 on 5 NCAA College rules
2. 2 – 20 minute halves, running until last two minutes of each half (stop time)
3. 10 minute half time
4. 1 time out a half
5. On a foul shot, players may enter the lane only once the ball has touched the rim
6. No Shot Clock
7. Will play with a 28.5 regulation ball
8. Players are allowed 5 fouls per game
9. If a player receives a technical foul, they will be ejected from the game.  After the second ejection, the player will be ejected from the league.
10. Unsportsmanlike conduct is not acceptable or tolerated.  Anyone who intentionally tries to injure another player or otherwise engages in unsportsmanlike conduct may be removed from the game or league in the discretion of the officers of the league.   Any player arguing with the referees, coaches, YMCA staff or DTS Staff, will be asked to leave the premises, with further action taken.
11. No Jewelry is allowed while playing
