Q: I don’t have any experience or I haven’t played in a long time. Is that okay?
A: Absolutely! Many of us have either never played or have played only informal street hockey with the boys on the street over 20 years ago. Everyone is welcome.
Q: What if I cannot make it on a particular Sunday?
A: That’s okay. The league is a pick-up league. There is no pressure to attend every week.
Q: I don’t know the rules of hockey. Will I learn?
A: The rules of DTS Floor Hockey are simple. You only need to understand “offsides”, which we will be happy to teach you.
Q: What equipment will I need to bring in order to play?
A: The only required equipment in order to play is a plastic-tipped street hockey stick and a mouth guard. Not required but highly recommended are shin guards and cross-trainer sneakers. All other equipment will be provided at each game.
